EyeLine Golf Putting and Chipping Brace

EyeLine Golf has some of the best practice and training aids on the market. One of the biggest problems I see in my putting and chipping lessons is golfers who flip their wrists during the stroke. In putting, this produces inconsistent direction and distance -- a bad combination. In chipping, flipping the wrists causes the dreaded sculled shot that flies across the green. The EyeLine Brace stabilizes the wrists and trains you to make a better and more consistent putting and chipping stroke. 4 STARS! For more information on this product, CLICK HERE.

Impact Bag

I use the Impact Bag in my lessons all the time. It helps train the golfer to learn the correct position at impact, but it can be used in a number of other ways, as well. PGA Professional Dr. Gary Wiren demonstrates some of the uses in the video below.

Chip-N-Pitch club extension

This is another product that I use in my lessons. The shaft extension attaches to any wedge or iron to prevent wrist breakdown. It works similar to the wrist brace listed above but without holding your wrists in place.

Choosing the right training aid for you can be tricky. Don't be drawn in by commercial hype. Sometimes simple items you have around the house can serve well as training aids. I often use two golf clubs laid parallel on the ground to teach alignment. There's a great product on the market right now that is essentially two thin metal sticks that can be used for the same purpose. Even though they have a variety of uses as training aids, they're probably not worth the expense for most people.

A good training aid should be simple to use, affordable and give you, the golfer, immediate feedback.
